The Johor Biotechnology and Biodiversity Corporation (J-BioTech) is a statutory body under the purview of the Johor State Government. Established on 23 October 2005 as the Johor Biotechnology and Biodiversity Secretariat under the supervision of the Johor State Economic Planning Unit, it was incorporated on 27 April 2006 as the Johor Biotechnology and Biodiversity Corporation (J-BioTech) following the enactment of Johor Biotechnology and Biodiversity Corporation (Enactment No 3 of 2006).
