Overview
The CIMB ASEAN Scholarship is a fully funded undergraduate scholarship that offers much more than financial support. It reaffirms our commitment towards supporting the growth of the region by investing in the next generation of talent to ensure a robust talent pipeline for the firm, consistent with our vision to be the leading ASEAN company.

Criteria
Applicant must meet all the below requirements

Have received or expected to receive an offer to pursue or are currently pursuing undergraduate studies in any academic discipline in any reputable university in the world.
Are aged 24 and below.
Have obtained academic excellence in pre-university exams/assessments, which may be country-specific, local or foreign/international; or at the undergraduate level if you are already in your first or second year of university (with min 2 years remaining of undergraduate study)
Are not holders of any other scholarship or grant with contractual obligation on the part of the applicant

The Khazanah Watan Scholarship is a prestigious award that offers opportunities for talented and high-achieving Malaysians to pursue Undergraduate and Postgraduate studies at selected leading local universities. The aim of the Khazanah Watan Scholarship Programme is two-fold:-

To train Malaysia’s brightest talents to transform its GLCs into competitive business locally and internationally;
To encourage individuals with excellent academic credentials to lead and participate in research initiatives that will contribute to the advancement of the universities’ reputation in research and innovation.

Criteria
Applicant must meet all the below requirements GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Possess strong leadership skills and active participation in extra-curricular, social or voluntary activities.
Applicants must have a consistent and outstanding academic achievement record as follows.
For Foundation Studies:

Obtained a minimum of 8As (combination of A+ and A) in the recent SPM examination or at least 8As in the recent IGCSE.
Obtained A or A+ in the following core subjects: Bahasa Melayu, English, History and Mathematics.
Not exceeding 18 years of age at the enrolment date for the foundation studies.
 Obtained admission to pursue studies or currently in the first semester of a Foundation Programme at the Yayasan Khazanah’s approved universities in Malaysia.
For Undergraduate (Bachelor’s Degree):

Obtained admission to pursue studies (conditional offer can be considered) or currently in the first year of a Bachelor’s Degree programme at any of the Yayasan Khazanah’s approved list of universities.
Obtained a minimum of:
3As for STPM; or
“Jayyid Jidan” for STAM; or
3As for GCE A-Level Programme; or
CGPA 3.50 / 4.00 for Pre-university or Diploma or Foundation or Matriculation Programme; or
35 points for International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme;
AND a minimum of 3.500 / 4.00 in semester exam for those who are currently in the first year of a Bachelor’s Degree Programme at any of our approved list of universities.
Not exceeding 21 years of age as at the enrolment date for the Bachelor’s Degree Programme.
For Master’s Degree:

Obtained admission to pursue studies at renowned selected universities in Malaysia (Conditional offer can be considered).
Obtained a minimum of Second Class Upper Division (UK and Australia University) or where there is a point system, obtained a minimum CGPA of 3.50 for Bachelor’s Degree.
Not exceeding 40 years of age as at the enrolment date for the Master’s degree.
For PhD:

Obtained admission to pursue studies or currently in the first year of a Doctoral Degree programme at renowned selected universities in Malaysia. (Conditional offer can be considered).
Obtained a Master Degree with a distinction or a minimum CGPA 3.50 / 4.00 or ‘A’ grade average and/or excellent examiners’ report if the Master Degree is by research.
Obtained a minimum of Second Class Upper Division (UK and Australia University) or where there is a point system, obtained a minimum CGPA of 3.50 for Bachelor’s Degree.
Not exceeding 40 years of age as at the enrolment date for the Doctorate programme.

PIDM Undergraduate Scholarship

The programme is intended to reach out to deserving Malaysians who are in need of financial aid to pursue their education.

Criteria

Applicant must meet all the below requirements

The scholarship will be offered on a yearly basis to a maximum of twenty successful applicants, to undertake up to four years of undergraduate studies locally. This notice of offer for the scholarship is open for applications from all Malaysian students in need of funding. Students who have started their undergraduate studies are also eligible to apply provided they meet the requirements.

• You must be a Malaysian citizen under 25 years of age (as of 1 January 2020) and be a full time student;
• You must have good academic results in SPM (minimum 5As with credits in Bahasa Malaysia and English) /STPM or A-Level equivalent (minimum 2As). In the absence of STPM or A-Levels, the applicant should possess Pre-University entrance examinations (such as foundation, matriculation, or diploma) with a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (“CGPA”) of 3.50 and above.
• You  must be a full-time student and have gained admission into any of the courses related to the field of studies listed here, which has been approved and accredited by Lembaga Akreditasi Negara (LAN), in a college or university in Malaysia as approved by PIDM;
• Not be in a position to take on the course without financial aid or award;
• Not be in receipt of any other scholarship, financial aid or award from any institution, organisation or foundation;
• Not have been terminated from or ceased to be in receipt of any other scholarship, financial aid or award from any institution, organisation or foundation, due to disciplinary action against the applicant;
• Applications will only be considered if they meet the eligibility criteria; the specific field of study and the list of colleges and universities as approved by PIDM.

Pre-requisites include:

• A requirement to provide information on income for the applicant and/or parent(s);
• The offer of scholarship will be subject to acceptance of the terms and conditions of a scholarship agreement with PIDM.
• Recipients of the scholarship award will be required to fulfil conditions as set out in the scholarship agreement including, but not limited to, maintaining a minimum ‘Cumulative Grade Point Average’ (CGPA) of 3.00 or achieve a minimum of ‘Second Class Upper’ in the final examinations.

PIDM may discontinue the scholarship or any part of the scholarship, at any time should the recipient of the scholarship:

• be unable to continue his or her studies, for whatever reason;
• fail to achieve a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) and Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.0 in any semester;
• fail to maintain conduct which is consistent with the rules and regulations specified by the college or university and is placed on probation; or
• is in breach of any of the terms and conditions of the PIDM scholarship agreement

• There will be no bond to this scholarship and the recipients are not required to repay the amount of scholarship awarded.

Induction Programme

• An induction programme will be provided to all recipients of the PIDM Scholarship Award. This is to ensure the recipients understand the mandate, vision, mission and values of PIDM.

Mentoring and Coaching

• Each recipient will be assigned a “mentor” from the Senior Management team. The mentor will provide consistent and continuous mentoring and coaching throughout the programme. This is to ensure that the recipients have the necessary support and are able to leverage on the experience of our management team.

Internship Programme

• As part of the strategic design of the programme, graduates will be offered paid six-month internship opportunities in PIDM to apply what they have learned in an operational context (subject to a minimum ‘Cumulative Grade Point Average’ (CGPA) of 3.00 or a minimum of ‘Second Class Upper’ in the final examinations).
