The 8.6km long KL Monorail system runs across 11 stations that stretches from KL Sentral in Brickfields through the central business district of Kuala Lumpur, ending at Titiwangsa Station in Jalan Tun Razak.

To achieve this aspiration, we need quality human resource in terms of education and training. For these purposes, The Council of Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (now known as Board of Directors) established SPACE in July, 1993. SPACE operation was extended to UTM International Campus in Jalan Semarak, Kuala Lumpur. SPACE offered the first batch of 30 students doing their Master's degree in Transportation Planning under the Out Campus Part Time Study Programme (now known as Part-Time Study Programme (PSM) in 1993.This was followed by the enrolment of 36 students studying their master in Gas Engineering in 1994. At the same time, 433 students were offered certificate course and offer short courses, seminar and workshops were also conducted by SPACE. From 1995/1996 academic session, the academic programmes through Part-time Study Programme (PSM) has been extended in terms of the number of programmes as well as the number of student intake and learning centres. At present, PSM programmes for Bachelor Degree and Diploma are being carried out at 15 learning centres all over the country. The students' enrollment has exceeded 5000.

In a special sitting in January 2005, Parliament approved the amendments to the Ninth Schdule of the Federal Constitution to transfer matters related to WATER SUPPLIES AND SERVICES from the State List to the Concurrent List (except for Sabah and Sarawak). The amendments were gazetted on 10th February 2005 and the enforcement date was 21st March 2005. With the amendments, the Federal Govenrment will regulate the water services industry in terms of licensing and regulating water services operators. The State Govenrment also retains the power to declare and regulate water resources, water catchment areas and river basins. In mid 2006, the Malaysian Parliament approved two landmark legislations that transformed the way Malaysia manages its water services, i.e. the Suruhanjaya Perkhidmatan Air Negara Act (Act 654) or SPAN Act and the Water Services Industry Act (Act 655) or WSIA. The former outlines the roles, functions and scope of work to be undertaken by the National Water Services Commision or SPAN, while the latter has provisions to cover economic, technical and social regulations as well as protection of consumer interests.

Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT) is the 14th public university in Malaysia and is located in Mengabang Telipot, Kuala Terengganu. The unique history of UMT can be traced back to the time when the Fishery and Marine Science Centre was formed in Mengabang Telipot by Universiti Putra Malaysia (then Universiti Pertanian Malaysia) in 1979. Initially, the centre provided training facilities for Fishery and Marine Science students as well as research facilities for academic staffs. In June 1996, Universiti Putra Malaysia decided to create a branch campus in Mengabang Telipot, following the relocation of the Faculty of Fishery and Marine Science from Serdang to Mengabang Telipot. The branch campus was named Universiti Putra Malaysia Terengganu (UPMT). The name of the faculty was changed to Faculty of Applied Science and Technology. Also formed at the branch campus were the Faculty of Science and Professional Arts and the Matriculation Centre. On 5th May 1999, UPMT became Kolej Universiti Terengganu (KUT) after an approval was obtained from the Cabinet for a formation of KUT as an associated campus of UPM. Two years later, in May 2001, KUT became a fully autonomous institution. On 20th June 2001, KUT officially became the 14th public institution of higher learning in Malaysia, and was subsequently renamed as Kolej Universiti Sains dan Teknologi Malaysia (KUSTEM). On 1st February, 2007, KUSTEM was renamed Universiti Malaysia Terengganu.

J-BioTech is headed by an 18-member Board of Directors, comprising government officials appointed by the Johor Menteri Besar, Dato' Haji Abdul Ghani bin Othman, who is the chairman. The management of J-BioTech is headed by a Chief Executive Officer who has 22 appointed officials. Committee staff is led Dato 'Haji Abdul Rahim Abu Bakar, while the members Thean Omar Haji Abdullah, Haji Mohd Zihin Hassan and Haji Abdul Khalid Abdul Aziz. The task force began work on December 20, 1989. Among the tasks of this group gives guidance on the reciprocal study conducted by a consulting firm selected. Fundamental to the study proposed that a foundation be created by his death. The purpose of the Foundation to create the corporate form of management to operate the zakat collection efforts on behalf of the treasury of the Federal Territory.Central to this new system is a collection of procedures that are designed and adapted by the computer system involves the assessment form, zakat, the code (coding), collect information systems, payment systems, the arbitration system (check and balance), the marketing and reporting system. after a year of research, planning and implementation of the Zakat Collection Centre has been operational in early 1991. Zakat Collection Centre, Federal Territory Islamic Religious Council (PPZ-religious council) is an agency established by the Federal Territory Islamic Religious Council (religious council). PPZ-religious council began operating on 1 January 1991 aims to collect all types of zakat. Zakat property which is the main focus is charity PPZ-religious council of income, savings alms, zakat, zakat of gold, silver zakat, zakat shares, charity Employees Provident Fund (EPF).
