1. Assistant Manager Life Claims
Location: Selangor
Responsibilities:
- Oversees and supervises the administration of the Terminal Unit to ensure that claims applications received are timely processed and provisions are adequately and correctly provided for.
- Review, examines and directs the processing of unusual or difficult claims cases, large claims, rejected claims or litigated claims of the Terminal Unit and where appropriate to refer such cases to the HOD.
- Review, examines, directs and monitor the processing and development of early and medical claims cases for the mitigation of claims leakages due to non disclosure, misrepresentation and possible fraud.
- Assist the HOD to conduct regular quality checks of work performed in the unit to ensure compliance of procedures for fair and expeditious settlement of claims.
- Assist the HOD to provide timely reports and valuable statistical information for the Board, Management, other relevant internal and external authorities.
- Approve claims and payment worksheet, vouchers as per established authority limit.
- Manage business relationship with solicitors, adjusters and other intermediaries to ensure that appropriate measures are taken for the benefit and to protect the interest of the company.
- Assist the HOD on any specific assignments as and when directed.
Requirements:
- Possess a Degree in related field.
- At least 4 year(s) of working experience in the related field at a fairly senior level.
- Good theoretical and practical knowledge on processing life claims.
- Excellent interpersonal and good communication skills.
